The six Ride Across Portugal stages allow participants to explore some of the quietest and most scenic roads you can find in Portugal.
Alto da Torre, the highest point in mainland Portugal (1,993m altitude) is the summit of Serra da Estrela and is also the most iconic cycling spot in Portugal. This venue, usually receives the most mythical Tour of Portugal’s stage arrivals.
Some of the main Portuguese rivers are also part of the scenery, providing all participants with unforgettable images.

Ride Across Portugal is not a race — it’s a celebration of cycling, scenery, and shared adventure. But for those who enjoy a touch of competition, each stage features several timed segments to spice up the ride.
Challenge yourself — and your peloton mates — every day. With 4 to 6 timed segments per stage, you can push for daily rankings and compete for the overall men’s and women’s classifications.
This unique format blends the thrill of competition with the freedom to ride at your own pace, socialise, regroup, stop at feed stations, or pause for photos — making every stage as relaxed or as intense as you choose.
